Repairs.

All exterior joinery from doors to windows can be repaired. Particularly Sash Windows.

Following the principles of the window care repair system, Able Carpentry can carry out repairs to almost anything.

Complete cills, sash rails and glazing bars can all be replaced with the window frame remaining in situ. Frames can be repaired without the need for removal.

This ensures less inconvenience, less redecoration, less mess and less cost.

Small areas of rot are removed and replaced with windowcare resin repair compound specifically designed for the job.

Larger areas of timber are removed and replaced with a duplicated copy in hardwood. Having spent a lot of time redoing repairs already done in modern softwood, no softwood is used for our repairs.

All repairs are sanded and any bare timber is painted with water based primer and undercoat in preparation for further painting.
